Myron Byron has a photo he took at Flickr from the docks at the Villa Vesuviana.

What a wonderful photographer!

It's so exciting seeing people visit the villa and take photos. If you've got any photos you've taken of The Villa, please send me the Flickr link! My e-mail is culturecannibal@gmail.com.

Wanted: Not-so-Prolific Writers!

If you've ever tried to write a blog, you know that you've got to write-write-write at least several times a week, if not several times a day. As you can see from my own blog, it's not that easy to do.

So if you're a not-so-prolific writer like myself and you've wanted to see your words in print on a blog but only have the time to write a blog post every two or three weeks, then send me a message. I'd love to hear what you have to say and maybe we can make sure everyone else is able to see your words on an irregular meeping basis.

Our Custom Build is in the Second Life Destination Guide

I'm sending out Huge Meeping Kudos to our custom builder CapabilityTodd Elswit! Second Life has honoured him by including one of his historical builds in the Second Life Destination Guide.

Stop by to visit his virtual interpretation of the RL Villa Capra "La Rotonda". And while you're visiting, if you join The Friends of The Villa subscribe-o-matic group, you'll automatically receive a free copy of Blue Revolution's Second Life book on the RL La Rotonda. And remember, subscribe-o-matic groups are web-based and don't use an SL group!

And after visiting The Villa, please return here and add your thoughts on your experience. Cap would love to hear from you.

Villa Capra (La Rotonda) is a virtual interpretation of the World Heritage site in Vicenza, Italy. Built in 1565, this elegant country house was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome and has since influenced the design of thousands of subsequent structures.
